Want to learn the industry's new leading editing software program fast? More and more Hollywood and independent films and documentaries use Final Cut Pro to edit their films. Stay ahead of the game by gaining the necessary knowledge to edit pro video and sound in this seminar of 5 intensive classes.
This course is designed to give beginner and intermediate Final Cut Pro users a hands-on technical understanding of the program. In five classes we will cover everything from performing basic editing functions to color correction and keyframing. Some of what you will learn is how to log/capture, to work with text, to modify speed, to create effects and outputting. You will learn essential techniques through editing your own short project using our professional footage.
You will be trained by a highly experienced editor at a production house which is currently working on several real-world projects ranging from music videos to investigative documentaries. You will be trained on 2 Mac quad-core G5s running Final Cut Pro 5.1 and all the latest software. You could also bring your own Apple laptop.
The class is designed to not only teach but also test your knowledge by providing students with footage to create a short film in a 4-person team.
